Iodine is widely used in familiar fields such as disinfectants like mouthwash, X-ray contrast media and other agricultural and industrial fields. Recently, its use in fields such as LCD polarizing film and solar cells is increasing.
Among pharmaceutical products, we hold the top share of Japanese Pharmacopoeia iodine and potassium iodide. Our potassium iodide was used for the stable iodine tablets during the nuclear emergency caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake.
